We have compiled several scriptures under many different topics that are defined in everyday language so an individual can find the prescribed antidote of the Word of God for their particular situation. Even if it's not your situation, you would do well to fortify these areas of your life. The purpose of this compilation is to help you, the Christian believer, with the antidote of God's Word, combat certain negative feelings and thoughts that may try to grip you and many other believers alike.

Internalize It

Many of the oppressive things that Christians face today are a direct result of the lack of the knowledge of God's Word. The Word of God declares in Hosea 4:6, "My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge." To learn God's Word and internalize it, through meditation and confession, will breed faith. Romans 10:17, "So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God."

According to the parable of the sower in Mark, Chapter 4, we find that the Word of God is the seed that the sower sows into the human spirit or in the heart of man. The heart of a man or woman is the soil in which the Word of God is sown. Given the right climate and the watering of the Holy Spirit, the seed of the Word of God will bear fruit after it's own kind. Genesis 1:11, "And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so."

King David wrote in Psalms 1 that the individual who meditates on the Word of God will prosper, that whatsoever they do shall prosper if they will meditate on it day and night!

The Hebrew word in Psalms 1:2 for meditate is "hagah," which means to mutter to one's self the Word of God so as to internalize it in your spirit. The result? It will produce the God kind of faith we find in Hebrews 11:1-3, "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. For by it the elders obtained a good report. Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the Word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear."

Be Patient

Be patient, if you don't see results immediately, don't worry, they will come! You will become the you God says you are by internalizing what God says about you! Through thinking, acknowledging, confessing and praying His Word, you will completely revolutionize your life.

God bless you and may this study be a great help to you spiritually and cause you to prosper in all dimensions of living . . . the spirit, the mind, the body and in your material world as well. Amen.
