A.

Q.
What is the
difference between being ordained and being licensed?
A.
Being licensed
means you have been given the legal right to perform ministerial
duties such as weddings and funerals or pastoring. Ordination is
the recognition of the call of God on one's life to the ministry by an
ecclesiastical or church body. Remember, the apostle Paul was
ordained of God not of man. Definitions do vary from ministry to
ministry and from government to government.
